Ella-Jane Sharpe is a passionate Voice and Piano Teacher who loves working with students to help them achieve their goals. As a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance, and a minor in Vocal Pedagogy, Ella-Jane has been pursuing a career in performance, songwriting and teaching.  As a teenager she was taught by Erana Clark, one of Australia's top vocal coaches (Australian Idol, X-Factor). During her time at the Berklee College of Music, Ella-Jane was selected to study at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute under the guidance of Grammy-Award winner and jazz pianist Danilo Perez and was later selected as the winner of the Sylvia M. Zunz scholarship, the highest award a singer can receive during her studies. As part of her studies, Ella-Jane was invited to perform for some of the greatest singers in the American music industry including Allen Stone, Harry Conick Jr., Lalah Hathaway and Kurt Elling. She has been teaching for over 5 years and enjoys teaching Jazz, Musical Theatre, Popular Music, RnB and Soul - whilst also working with students on musicality, ear training, performance technique and artistry in its purest form.
