Yurie

Yurie Yoshida is an active musician and teacher in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. She currently teaches flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, violin, cello, and guitar classes through Los Angeles Unified District. Yurie has been a passionate trumpet teacher for students of all ages, leading them through the creative process of music making for the past 17 years. She has also taught general music as an Orff-Schulwerk Certified teacher in the classroom. As a trumpet player, she has toured countries in Europe, Asia, and North America, and has performed performed with world renowned artists such as Barry Manilow, Julianne Hough, DJ Khalid, and Demi Lovato. Yurie’s ensemble experiences include performing with an eclectic variety of ensembles including the Pacific Brass Ensemble, La Sonora Tropicana, Jacaranda Music Festival, Debut Orchestra, American Youth Symphony, Los Angeles Doctors Symphony. Yurie holds a Master’s degree and a Graduate Certificate in trumpet performance from the University of Southern California.
