Gillian
Gillian Espinoza is a highly skilled and experienced cellist based in Los Angeles, originally from the High Desert. She began her musical journey as a trained flutist, but soon discovered a passion for the cello, which led her to transition to this instrument at age eighteen.
Gillian dedicated herself to honing her cello skills, and after five years of study at her local community college, she transferred to the University of Redlands, where she studied with the renowned cellist Kyle Champion. Gillian graduated in 2018 with a BA in cello performance, and has since continued to perform with various orchestras and teach privately throughout the Inland Empire.
Gillian's experience as a professional cellist includes performing under the direction of Zain Khan for Vicente Chamber Orchestra, playing with the Santa Monica Symphony and Pacific Opera Project, and teaching for the Los Angeles Philharmonic YOLA music program. With her deep knowledge of the cello and her ability to connect with students of all levels, Gillian is a dedicated and passionate cello teacher who strives to help her students achieve their full potential.

Yurie
Yurie Yoshida is a distinguished musician and educator with extensive experience teaching a wide range of musical instruments. As a dedicated teacher, she has been providing high-quality instruction to students of all ages for over 17 years, guiding them through the creative process of music-making. Yurie is a certified Orff-Schulwerk teacher and has taught general music in classrooms. She is currently a faculty member at the Los Angeles Unified District, where she teaches flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, violin, cello, and guitar classes.
In addition to her teaching career, Yurie is an accomplished trumpeter, having toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. She has performed with an impressive list of renowned artists, including Barry Manilow, Julianne Hough, DJ Khalid, and Demi Lovato. Yurie's ensemble experiences are equally impressive, having performed with a diverse range of groups such as the Pacific Brass Ensemble, La Sonora Tropicana, Jacaranda Music Festival, Debut Orchestra, American Youth Symphony, and Los Angeles Doctors Symphony.
Yurie holds a Master's degree and a Graduate Certificate in trumpet performance from the prestigious University of Southern California, where she was mentored by some of the most distinguished trumpet players in the world. Her expertise and experience in both teaching and performing make her a sought-after educator and performer in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
